    osb result

hi everyone. my DFR (defence force recruitment officer) called me up today and told me this:

i had been recommended to go to ADFA as a general service officer in the army. woo!

but, there are two types of recommendation:

    guaranteed job - self explanatory

selective - this means that i'm in, but if someone super duper comes along in the november/december boards and knocks me off the list.. i won't go.

i won't know what type of recommendation i have gotten for a week or so (which is really annoying).
but that is just to become a general service officer.

i will be undertaking flight screening in november (i think) and if i pass that i will become a pilot. awesome.
i'm quite excited that i'm this close to flying nh-90s for the adf, but i'm not being overly optomistic! thanks to everyone for their support, and to the fellow applicants i befriended during the osb last holidays, i'll see you next year guys!
